Easy Holiday DIY Recipes
Sharing three EASY holiday gifts that are heartfelt and purposeful. With so much STUFF out there to buy, sometimes it feels good to add in a few homemade gifts too. We made some super cute and SIMPLE gifts this weekend - infused honey, elderberry syrup, bath soak and I wanted to share them with you!
Oil-Infused Honey
Grab some good local honey (or from the supermarket) and infused it with a few drops of essential oil and these adorable honey jars (or mason jars or any glass containers you have on hand).
On the bottle of the jar, drop the oils, then at the honey on top. My favorite combo for this is cinnamon bark, orange and copaiba. Great for immunity, digestion, respiratory support, inflammation, calm. And it tastes amazing! Thieves would be an obvious choice, you could add in lemon or orange with the Thieves. Lavender or peppermint honey would be great too!
Elderberry Syrup
There are lots of recipes online out there, but basically this is cooking dried elderberries (and Ningxia wolfberries!) in filtered water until they reduce by half… then adding honey and oils as a finishing touch. Store in the fridge and use within 3 months. Take ⅓ tsp to 1 tsp every few hours when you feel run-down.
What You Need
4 cups water
1 cups elderberries
¼ cup Ningxia wolfberries (gogi berries)
½ cup-1 cup honey (depends on how sweet you want it)
10-40 drops of EO
Infuse it with these oils!
Orange – rich in d-limonene, powerful immune supporter + antioxidant, sweetens it up too!
Lemon — purifying, thins out mucous, great for cleansing the body
Cinnamon Bark – immunity, respiratory, sinuses, kills all kinds of yuck, healthy blood sugar
Ginger – digestive powerhouse, great for immune system
Clove – highest antioxidant out there! Use sparingly, strong smokey taste.
DiGize – our digestive blend is actually great for your overall immunity. Gut health = overall health…this one has a strong taste but many swear by it!
Thieves – immunity blend extraordinaire! Contains Clove, Cinnamon, Lemon, Eucalytpus + Rosemary

Bath Soak
What You Need
2 parts Epsom salt or magnesium flakes
1 part baking soda
Add 2-10 drops of oils
Combine in any glass container you’d like! I love Lavender + Thieves for this. You could do pretty much anything… use what you have on hand. Lavender, Ylang ylang, Geranium, Rosemary, Purification, Raven, Frankincense… all oils I use in the bath.
